Bed socks and body heat

Bed socks and a robe when you’re in bed?

Seriously, are you off your head?

It’s the middle of August don’t you know?

Not winter when the cold winds blow

Have you no blood inside your body?

Shall I make a rum hot toddy?

Or something else to beat the chill?

With the added bonus of a thrill

You need someone to snuggle you

There’s much more body heat with two

Come closer in my arms tonight

I’ll stir your passion and ignite

The fires in your beating heart

I am the master in that art

No longer will you feel the cold

I’m always here for you to hold

My warmth you’ll feel right to your core

It’s ours to share for evermore

Our minds and bodies intertwine

Now I am yours and you are mine

Ah yes, and you have proven your verbal talents with your poetic words. 🙂

I was wondering if you would be interested in a project of Peace? Obviously, this vital issue is dear and near to my hearts, and wish it was dear and near to the other hearts of others. Hopefully, one day we will not need to ask or demand Peace, but simply live in such a glorious world of Peace..

We have 140 contributions to date, and I am trying again to rope in
as many contributors to the Poets for Peace challenge
(in place until this the end of August). The many voices in response
to this have been fantastic, and I’d love you to add yours (again,
if applicable) if you can. Feel free to use an existing piece of
writing or a new one asking for peace and/or about the troubled
    times in which we live.

If you are interested, please leave your poem in the comments
section of Neha’s blog and it will be added.

Oh yes. I think some one else asked me to do this but I’ve forgotten. Maybe it was you. I am just finishing up a couple of poems then I will try to write something! 🙂
