Bluebirds

Tiny glints in neon skies are fading

Just like you and I, forever falling

With bungee-jumping emotions

Where are all the Bluebirds?

Where once they flocked is empty

Devoid of love, hope, and companionship

An oasis to tempt them, to bring them back to me

Will she come sometime soon?

To bring them home to roost

Where are all the bluebirds?

That was really pretty, and I have a penchant for bluebirds because of my husband called Jay (Bluejay well, he is my bluebird.) blue eyes by his nana. Is this the challenge? If so I’d say challenge well and truly met with birds on.

I got lost then. Anyway, I was going to mention if you allow me your email for now I will send you what I did to your other poem if you would like to see -. in the spirit of just wanting to help as you like us all our relatively new and eager to learn things perhaps. Let me know. I won’t stalk or sell it to the newspapers.
